This may have been covered earlier, but I'm new here. In Apple Mail, for example, hover the cursor over my mailboxes causes them to open, whether I want them to or not. I can find nothing about this in any guidance or advice anywhere. How do I stop this irritating action? Any help welcome.

Have noticed this happens at times when the trackpad is either dirty, or if Bluetooth, when batteries start to fail.
