Yesterday, with no upgrades or changes made, I suddenly do not receive emails in Mail from my Yahoo account. No problems with the Gmail accounts. I can sometimes see an email momentarily appear then it's gone, but also not in trash or junk. No problems with my iPhone. I'm using OS X 10.9.5
Thanks,
Marcus

Marcus, have you tried to reenter all the Yahoo email settings to see if just doing that will restart receiving? I don't know how Yahoo works, but sometimes just reentering stuff gets it going for other things. Also, is there any way to open a new Yahoo account to see if it works? That would let you test Yahoo in general to assure that it's working at all for your machine.

I deleted the account several times and reentered all the info, no help.
Thanks,
Marcus

Do you have another computer where you can check your Yahoo account to see if it can receive the Yahoo emails? If it can't be received there as well, then it may be a yahoo problem.

Hello Jake!
Yes, I have an iMac on the same OS X and my iPhone both see the Yahoo mail without any issues. The problem is only on the MacBook Air???

Thanks,
Marcus

That's just weird! About the only thing I can tell you to try is to open the mail account information at Mail/Accounts and compare side-by-side every setting on the iMac, iPhone and Air. Something has to be different on the Air.
