X11 issues

hi im harshil and i have some issues related to X11. i want to use ANSYS on my macbook air. but when i open X11 it displays "bash-3.2$ " can i get help regarding what do i have to do to run ANSYS on my mac as I'm not much used to the X11 coding. or can anyone suggest me a simulation software for mac similar to ANSYS.

Do you have this installed on your system?
Near as I can tell this is something you have to log into on a linux system.

What you're getting is a bash prompt which is normal for Xterm.
Have you tried asking at their website for instructions?

hi i already visited this website and i got the idea about how to do.. but the problem i am facing is it shows "bash-3.2$ " on my mac when i open X11 xterm while on the website it is written that it shows "ch314c:~ mwr$" on xterm.

Doesn't matter what it says as long as you can type into it.
The prompt can be changed to anything: Learning the Command Line – Bash Prompts (1) | Mac-Forums Blog
Just start typing whatever commands you need to.
