To be honest I think it quotes a little low. The value of anything is what someone is willing to pay, and I think most of us would jump at the sight of a MB 2.4Ghz Intel core 2 duo, 250gb for $810. Good for a reference, but like Kelly Blue Book for cars, its just for reference.

yeah, it does quote a but low. That can be used as the lowest a mac can get that for the specific configuration and will sure prevent low ballers !!

this is actually because the prices are for NON-unibodies. The site has not allowed for unibodies yet.

I just priced my new 2.4 baseline MBP and it said 1100$, for a unibody? I highly doubt that one. It even has the picture of the old MBP up.

just FYI...810$ for a white macbook is actually decent now.

I'm sure it was just a BTO option, which didn't require you to get the black one. Or you could have upgraded it yourself.
