I had a bit of an ... accident with my PowerBook, and have destroyed the monitor. It is impossible to read anything off the monitor. I do have an external monitor connected via DVI port though. I know there's a way to switch things so that I can close the lid on my PowerBook and then work off the external monitor; however right now the Mac still thinks there are two monitors and is just making one big desktop. How do I tell the Mac to <i>only</a> use the external monitor? Keep in mind that I can't see the primary display so I can't use any of the menus, go into System Preferences, anything like that. I can use keyboard shortcuts though.

Thanks for any help!

nm, solved my own problem. Went Cmd+F6 if anyone is curious. Messed up the resolution but at least I can get to work on it.

Kind of embarrassing, actually. Lost a bunch of money playing online poker.
