You don't need it. Google "flip4mac" and download the plug in for quicktime. It will allow QT to play WMV files.

I got that but every time I try to watch a media thing on a site it says I need some plug-in.

I dowloaded it but it comes up as a word document. What does this mean?

A word document? If you click on the download link at the bottom of the page it should take you to a page where you can select what language you want the app in. English should prompt you to download a .bin file, which will mount as a disk image and allow you to install the app. (see the attached screen shots)

Hope that helps.
