WINDOW "Bring All to Front"

What exactly does this mean in menu bar - window - bring all to front ?
It does nothing & never has on any Mac OS I have ever used, Am I missing something ?.

It does exactly what it says it does. It brings all of the windows of the current application to the front; the same as if you'd clicked on the current application's Dock icon.
