Microsoft Surface is kicking our butts with touchscreen capability! The Surface Studio is a game-changer in the 'creative' space.
Why does Apple dig its heals into the sand on touch???
@Randy B. Singer, granted, Apple is selling way more laptops than Microsoft. However... Microsoft isn't the only one taking advantage of the touchscreen. HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus, and many others have validated the myriad advantages to having a Productive touchscreen tool to get the job done. All totaled, the touchscreen PC is WAY greater than anything we can deliver with the MacBook.
Also, the iPad is really a toy, with little more than consumables and basic 'wanna-be' tools to keep it relevant. Prediction... iPads will soon become glorified e-Readers, falling into the same category as the Kindle.
As someone who has owned surface products, they are exactly as Randy describes. Half baked solutions to problems no one asked. ...Apple will be just fine without all the "Microsoft innovations"....They are crap!
...granted, Apple is selling way more laptops than Microsoft.
Who wants Finger marks all over their screen?
@KevinJS, That's a lame excuse.
Then what are you going to do with the keyboard? Tablet is perfect for it.Who wants Finger marks all over their screen? I'd have liked to see support for the Apple Pencil.

Does it tell you down to the square foot where the device is? Not for my devices.
