Somethings been puzzling me, when my iPod's plugged into iTunes it has something like 30gb worth of orange Other section on the bar at the bottom, i know that i only have 1.5mb worth of notes and 1 exe on it, so i'm clueless as to what could be taking up the space

i have a black 120gb ipod classic and i'm running itunes 9.1 on mac osx 10.5.8

That is pretty odd. Have you tried restoring it? If you have any movies/tv shows, are they classified as a movie/tv show or something else?

I've never heard of this problem, nor have I ever had it, but a simple restore may help iTunes recognize the media. It may take a while to resync all your data but its worth a try.

yeah i dunno i thought that movies and video podcasts and all that came under the videos bit,

a restore may be the option, i can't be bothered at the moment, cause yeah it does take forever to resync lol, when i start running outta free space i'll give it a go i suppose
