Why Are All The Cool Cases Only Made For Iphone's?

it seems like the most rugged and unique cases are only made exclusively for the iPhone.
I have an otter box defender and trident Kraken 2 case for my droid x.
they both do their job of protecting the phone. but I like variety and options.
and it seems like the really unique cases aren't made for anything but the iPhone.
I like cases like the taktik, the aqua tek, griffin, casemate tank, gumdrop, qmadix Xtreme, rock form, etc.
I realize the iPhones are extremely popular.
but android is responsible for over half of the phones sold.
so why not make cases for them and reach more consumers?
why limit yourself?
does anyone know of some unique rugged cases for the droid x?

Cases are a personal choice. Search, try and keep the case you like for your phone.

Ask the average consumer what the brand image of Apple products is compared to the competition...and they might say things like...edgy, luxury, trendy, expensive, creative, etc.

Ask the same question about non-Apple products...and the average consumer might say...utilitarian, non-exciting, affordable, etc.

When you have disparity like this in "brand image" between Apple & non-Apple products...it's easy to see why companies might make more unique cases for the iPhone. Add to this the fact that the average iPhone owner is probably more likely to pay more for things...thus a big second reason more interesting/unique cases are made for iPhones (companies can make more money/case selling iPhone cases).

This is not to say some non-Apple products and some non-Apple consumers are not edgy, creative, trendy, etc. "Brand Image" is very important to companies making these products...and they will make products that fit those brand images.
