No. I meant that the verse suggests females are safe from snakes. Very weak — but I'm humour challenged, moreso yesterday.

Every young child here has been taught in school about these two snakes which are common and also easy to confuse.

Brown Study the verse is just to make it easy for the kids to remember. In the US, we are very into rhyming, even when it does not make much sense.
