I'm back to primarily using Firefox now, actually... when I heard Adblock was working properly now and that Firefox was on the ball with a lot of CSS3 stuff, I had to have it.

I've switched... to OmniWeb. It's an amazing browser, you should all check it out.

I finally found that non-webkit (although it's still webkit it's a much newer version than Safari) browser with ColorSync support =] I'm happy.

Funny thing is I had it, tried it a few years ago and didn't like it. Now that it's a newer version I am using it again and I like it a lot.

I turned to Firefox when too many sites failed to load properly in Safari. Now, Firefox has become a resource hog and I am using Camino more and more.

Thanks - I like to try them all - downloading it now and will give it a test spin.

Ok downloaded it - been using it the last few days. Seems ok - what do you like about it over Safari?

I've been a staunch Firefox user since the "Phoenix" days. But I'm also a geek. I explore different options.
I gave Camino a try, the gecko engine and mac-ness was nice, but it just wasnt very extensible.
Gave Safari a goood run for the money..installed Saft, Safari Enhancer, ran Webkit.

Lately I've been using OmniWeb. Also a Webkit browser, but it uses a newer version than Safari.
I dig the thumbnail tabs and drawer. VERY OS X app-like.
The per-site settings, the regex ad blocking, little things make it very spiffy in my book.
OmniGroup's use of and enhancement of Webkit is obvious:

Curious... anyway us Safari users can get that text formating that is seen here in his image of OmniWeb?

It's driving me nuts that I can't use Google Chat with Safari... driving me even more nuts that I can't format my text.

I'd just use FireFox, but it has issues with wireless on my MBP. Perhaps I'll try it again and see if there's an update that fixes the issue.

I use Firefox, although recently I flirted with Camino but it's a little buggy in my experience.

I really want to love Safari since it is fast and integrated to Aqua, but there are some things that are just really annoying. The pop-up blocker is awful... its either on or off, no customization. OK, you can download an add-on, but that's the kind of thing you expect to have to do for Windows, not a modern web browser in OS X 10.4

Secondly, the add-ons you get with Firefox are phenomenal and Safari is still pretty lean in this area. Finally, I don't like the way Safari deals with bookmarks. For me its counter-intuitive... perhaps one of the few Apple programs that is this way.

So I have used Firefox on and off since version 0.4 when it was Firebird (I used it on Windows) and I guess it's one browser that you can use in virtually any OS, which is great for consistency.
