I tend to start my working days by watching BBC News 24 (and usually channel hop between the bbc and SkySports News) whilst eating my breakfast.
Once at work I tend to check the BBC site almost every day. Other than that I use things like Digg and NewsNow to find stories/blogs that supply my daily news fix. I tend to go to a site, read the story that first attracted me and then browse quickly over the page looking for interesting links/headlines and go from there - you would be amazed at just how much of my day I can waste using this 'technique'
