OK, guys, what's the scoop here? I am seeing this exact question on more and more forums so I know it is not a unique issue for me.
Every video player , every video format, whether local, streamed, stored on remote HD, cloud, regardless of player used or browser used - every video I play on my brand new Macbook Pro Retina 15 or on my 2012 Mac Mini goes out of sync with the audio after a while.
The video and audio always start out in perfect sync but soon begin to separate and the longer I play the video the worse the lag gets.
I am of the opinion that this is a problem with Yosemite because I never experienced it prior to upgrading when using the same browsers, players, files, memory, etc.
Has anybody else experienced this issue? I contacted Apple technical support but got nowhere with them - one guy told me it was probably becoming I am using a second vitro display with my mac.
I sure would appreciate any ideas if you have had a similar experience.
