What Mouse Should I Get?

My current Logitech optical wireless mouse is starting to fail on me, and so I'm thinking of getting a new one. I do a lot of gaming, so I've been leaning towards the mice with more buttons.

The price range really can't be over $50 or $60.

And I said before, I'm looking for one that has more than just three buttons and that I can use in games.

Those are really my only requirements, anyone know where I could get a good mouse by those specifications?

Thanks,

I use the Kensington Optical Elite.. it has 4 buttons, plus a scroll wheel that can be used as a button. It's a pretty sweet mouse :)

I love student discount (sig)
I use the m$ intellimouse 4 and it is quite good - 5 buttons, tilt scroll wheel

second to that the Apple mouse (or the mouse if you need more than 1 button and a wheel)

If you want a mouse as sleek as the Apple mouse, but with the functionality of a right click and a scroll wheel, look into The Mouse, by MacMice. Their website is http://www.macmice.com/themouse.html . Here's a picture:

Well, I have one, it's pretty neat. It perfectly matches my white Apple Pro keyboard. :)

The only thing I complain about is the lousy third button (when you push the wheel). You need to press the wheel quite hard, which often results in a click-scroll, instead of just click. But except that, it's a great mouse.
MacMice also sells a Bluetooth version of that mouse. It has the same design as the one with cable, unlike the Apple BT mouse (it's white, but not transparent like the cable version).

I have the Mouse from MacMice too. I went to their website and downloaded the drivers for it and then set the scroll wheel button to 'Back' Plenty of other options too. I like it and it matches my eMac too :)
Have fun

They just copied the Apple Optical mouse, although not half as well. A good rule of thumb is never to buy anything from Microsoft. Office 2k4 for Mac crashes as frequently as a drunk, stoned driver on the freeway. Even Xbox, which I one thought was the one only good product Microsoft made, now won't recognize most discs, even if they're brand new. Seriously, I wouldn't trust Microsoft with anything. Nothing works.

Just get a nice Apple Optical mouse and you'll be fine.

I have the Microsoft by Stark mouse. I think it looks great with my PowerMac G5.
The only gripe I have is that the mouse pointer has an annoying habit of randomly jumping around the screen every now and then.

Man, this topic is still going? Lol...

Well, I better update it then. Just to let you all know, I finally decided to get the Logitech MX700 mouse. I narrowed down a list of Logitech, Kensington, and Microsoft mice which fit all my techincal specifications, and then I further narrowed it down by the reviews. In the end, the deciding factor was gaming performance. I do a lot of it, and the MX700 came highly recommend for just that task. The other mice I found had problems with lag when it came to gaming.

It just came today. As with any new mouse, I'm still getting used to the way it tracks, but it's very comfortable and I'm really enjoying the multiple buttons. :)

The scroll wheel looks like a truck tire. My computer room is too small for that puppy!
