If you're bothered and infected by listchack, a quick google search found a result:
http://malwarefixes.com/how-to-remove-listchack/

Did what was recommended there already.

Also I usually find Find Any File very useful for locating files etc. to delete or whatever…
http://apps.tempel.org/FindAnyFile/

Have to pay £5.99 for Find any file.

EasyFind is another to keep in your apps arsenal.

Couldn't find listchck with Easy find, either.

I've used Easyfind to no avail.

I've seen something ask me if I wish to uninstall listchack. Is this a scam?

Maybe I'm missing something with your posts, but could you post what your problem actually is still.

Is listchack still some sort of problem… and were you not able to remove it…???

I have been unable to remove it, as well as it cloning my history, reloading itself (making it harder to back browse), and all searches still sending themselves through it. I like using Yahoo! search. Should I stop using that search engine?

And you have yet to answer my reply about it asking me to uninstall... I assumed to was a scam, so closed the window.

Actually pm-r did. Go to the link malware fixes, and when it opens, scroll to the foot of the page which deals with removal from a Mac.

I have already tried that folder / file hunter trick (within malware fixes). Someone on the official Apple forums mentioned it.

Well that's odd, so maybe try some other removal methods if those I posted didn't work for some reason.

Try:
http://junkwareremoval.com/adware/listchack-removal-guide/
and if that doesn't work, take your pick of hits from here:

I removed VSearch and Genieo with Bit Defender, which is good news. I also removed, "Search" from the one click search engines in preferences, which I think got rid of listchack. Thanks you very much, pm-r.

I'm not familiar with Bit Defender, assuming you mean Bitdefender Virus Scanner as the same software, but glad to hear it worked for you and you got the problem solved.

PS: that Bitdefender Virus Scanner doesn't seem to have the best reputable reviews if it's the same software you used. But if it works… etc., etc… eh…

Yeah well my malwarebytes scanner didn't pick up anything. That's why I started posting here. Thanks again for sorting it.
