First let me say, yes, I know this is Mac-Forums but I could not resist mentioning that MS has released its very own version of Linux called Common Base Linux (CBL) Mariner. Didn't MS hate Linux? I thought so, but not any more apparently. They have embraced the OS and it now runs Windows programs via MS's Azure Virtual Desktop.

I'm sure we have all had a play with Linux in the past, I know I have but this is an unexpected development to say the least. You will have to do a little searching to get the full story, I started here; Say hi to Microsoft's own Linux: CBL-Mariner | ZDNet

Am I likely to swap any time soon, no, definitely not, but it certainly throws the cat amongst the pigeons in the corporate PC world.
