you guys are late to the fallout3 party, eh?

i'm on my third character - played as multiple to try different tactics, earn different trophies, etc.

i will say, you really need to blow up megaton. maybe not in your main game, but playing evil is pretty fun, and the explosion is astounding.
also, 3 dogs announcements change with your actions, so if you play evil, you'll hear some very different coverage of your antics.

also, with my evil character, i tried to make a hand to hand character who used guns only occasionally. that was actually really fun, and saved me a whole lot of caps to spend on lots of stuff.

Hey Eric,

Did you ever buy any of the items for your home? More specifically, the Infirmary, Work Bench, etc?

Do you know how to get them into your house (in Megaton) when you get them, so that you can actually use them?

You talk to the shop keeper Moria (can't remember, its been a while since I played it) in Megaton. She should have the items in her store as soon as your home becomes available. You just purchase it from her, and it should show up in your house as soon as you enter it.

The Infirmary and Science Lab are definitely useful/cool. The Infirmary has the options to reduce your radiation, heal you, patch up damaged limbs for free (except for the initial cost of buying it).
THe Science Lab can be useful depending on how much you're into creating stuff. You can create mentats, stimpacks, purified water etc. with the lab. I spent a good amount of time trying to create stuff. It also detoxicates your character incase you get addicted to something.

The workbench is good to have around too if you like creating weapons, ammo and the sort. However, you can find workbenches anywhere and use them for free. Having one at your home would make it more convenient though.

First things first, the Infirmary is top priority.

See, that's the thing, I purchased all of those items, and when I go into my house, it doesn't show up anywhere.. Either that or I've overlooked it...

It doesn't really matter now since I don't have FO3 anymore (I only rented it).

Thanks though!

I am on my second play through of fallout 3 and I was very surprised about the ending (might be a spoiler trying not to be through) and how I had Fawke next to me but I still had to do what I had to do.

On my second play through Im going to get near the end of the main quest then go around exploring since I didn't really do much of that my first time.

In a post above someone said that they use V.A.T.S all the time but I never use it at all really only if there are around 5 or more people so I can get a shot in on all of them.

On my second play through I decided to not use guns at all. I have been using spiked brassnucks. I must say they own. I take down feral ghouls in 1 punch. lol

Now Im just waiting for the downloadable content so that I can play the game after the main quest is finished.

If I can remember, I had some difficulty finding those things as well when I first purchased them. They kind of blend into the environment really well.

I picked up Resident Evil 5 for the PS3, played it through with my bro online, and it is really great.
I've also been playing Killzone 2 online, when I get the chance.

If I buy spore, it will most likely be for my ipod touch rather then my macbook. I dont think spore is one of those games u can play hardcore, just something to have a mess around and fun with.

This game rocks.. I'm kinda mad though, I have it on my Xbox, and I can't load past this one chapter. The bloody thing freezes and I can't get any further..

Alas, Resident Evil 5 is taking up my time right now.. I'm 3 sub-chapters from the end, and I've only had it for about 2 days.

Great game.

Yeah I know what you mean I downloaded the creature creator when they released it. There really isn't any gameplay in the creature creator besides little commands and creating baby versions of your creature but It just doesn't look like a hardcore game.

Spore gets old and repetitive faily quickly, IMO. If you're really into those Populous-style, God games, then it might be OK. But it does get old.

The iPod/iPhone version is pretty fun, but very limited.

Great game.

Me and my bro have been playing it online extensively. The replay value is awesome. We were able to unlock the infinite ammo mode for the M3 Shotgun, the L.Hawk Magnum, the PSG-1 Sniper, the S75 Hunting Rifle, the AK-74, and the M92 Pistol.
We really don't need money or exchange points anymore. But it's still fun trying to hold off hordes of manjini with the L.Hawk Magnum. Although it's powerful, you gotta make each shot count.

Oblivion is awesome. Playing RE5 both on the 360.

Also into GOW2 with a buddy. RE5 is a must play with an online partner - as that woman is an idiot with any weapon on auto pilot. And she is always in the way. LOL!

Haha, yeah the buddy AI is pretty bad. Give her the stun rod for the first 3-4 chapters, and she should be ok haha.

I need some help with the Nuka-cola challenge in fallout 3. I went to the Nuka-cola plant and got 3 quantum there and used the computer to get the 3 locations. I got the bottles from the back room of the Super-Duper mart, also I got the bottles from under the stairs of Paradise falls, and lastly from the truck outside of the 3rd location can't think of its name. Took me forever to find that truck since I cleared out the whole town witch is riddled with Deathclaws. I also might have some others from before I got the quest all I know is that I have 21 and only need 9 more but I have no clue where to find them. anyone Know? This is my second play through but I never finished the quest the first time around

yeah never mind I finished the quest. I got to level 20 and got the explorer perk. Then I went off searching the closest place for quantum. Took awhile but I did it.

A few days ago, a friend of mine beat Resident Evil 5.. It's so much fun.. Going through it on Veteran, and it seems a heck of a lot easier too.

I'm going to pickup Fallout 3 today I think, or sometime in the next few weeks.

Spent 30 bucks on a copy of Skate, and I can't stop playing.

I'm hooked.
