360: Farcry 2, Gears 2

CoD World at War was very disappointing compared to Modern Warfare; I finished it in just under a week of casual playing, and I'm not that great at gaming. Modern Warfare took me at least two weeks.

I ran into this today while reading an article about Duke Nuke'm Forever and am hooked. I downloaded Duke Nuke'm 3D for $6 (have been wanting to play it again for years, but it's tricky to get running in Windows) and have been having a blast. It runs perfectly in VMWare/WinXP (it fails in Windows 7 thus far, but then the site only guarantees XP/Vista compatibility).

There's a ton of old DOS games out there that I had all but forgotten about (of course, back then I was playing a lot of them on the Amiga, but the DOS versions are fine too).

You really think so? I found CoD4 to be much shorter and far less enjoyable. I particularly liked knifing the Banzai-attacks and playing as the russian sniper in CoD5. I've only played it through twice now, but I find the single player to be a more enjoyable game overall.

Yes and no. Some of the best quests in game easily but however personally I am getting sick of the personality's within the game nowadays.

Yeah, I think it could have been a little better; it felt a lot like Call of Duty 3.5 w/ a facelift (ie. CoD4 engine and graphics). It's a fun game, no doubt, but it felt a bit 'rushed' compared to Modern Warfare.

CoD 2 and 4 are the best... CoD5 is okay at best. Modern Warfare 2 is going to destroy all.

The main reason that I love COD5 is for the online play and that I'm a huge WW2 buff. Playing COD5 reminds me of watching band of brothers.

I've been a huuuuge CoD fan ever since the first came out for PC years and years ago.. I've beaten every single CoD game ever made, on Veteran difficulty, apart from CoD5. Mostly because once Resident Evil 5 and Fallout 3 got released, those took up most of my time

I plan on beating CoD5 soon, I just am in the midst of playing Gears of War 2 again.

I found that CoD 3/5, being developed by Treyarch sucked. Infinity Ward is where it's at in terms of the CoD series. There's somethingabout the way Treyarch developed those 2 games that just didn't have the same vibe as the rest.

The online play for CoD3 sucked really bad, but the campaign was okay.

I don't really care much for CoD5 multiplayer either, but again, the campaign is okay.

I busted out my copy of Gran Turismo 4 for the PS2, setup the screen to 1080i, and I am really impressed. The game still holds up even compared to next gen graphics.
I forgot how much I love this game. Although I played Forza 2 extensively, it just didn't have this feel Gran Turismo 4 has.

I got wireless internet so I want to get my PS3 set up online because I miss playing Metal gear solid online. Only problem is my PS3 cant find it but it is in the same room as my imac and the imac finds it no problems.
