maybe i've just got to spring for the 2Gb of memory...

Dont buy through Apple, way too expensive!! Buy from crucial or kingston or some similar top brand name.

well... it's for classic, non-intel only.

re: sim city 2000 question from above.

you can use stuffit to expand it, but i can't get it to run since it's a classic game (not universal or ppc under rosetta).

not sure if we can run classic games through an emulator? does anyone know?

by the way, welcome to the forums Kav Ky!

I'd like BF2, UT, Quake 4, and Counter-Strike.

The middle two work on macs by themselves, but the outside ones need Bootcamp, unfortunately.

Its a real let-down that Steam doesn't work for macs :(

installed a full version with expansion packs of AOE2 last night but I have not had a chance to play as of yet. I have an Explorer that I am replacing a hub assembly on with a bearing and 2 shows this weekend. I will try to figure in some time to play a bit if I can.

oh and if anyone has any ideas on how to remove a hub assembly let me know ;)

Should be no problems. I'm running it on a ppc mini with everything turned up and there's no issues. Except for the amount of my life I'm losing to this game.

Well I am running half life 2 Dethmatch with no problems on my Intel iMac G5

different animal. you have dedicated graphics - that's why a thread devoted to the macbook is pretty important. so we know what will and won't run.
