For me, I am pretty sure that I am getting the complete "Get Smart" series on DVD and the complete "All Creatures Great and Small" series on DVD. I have already received the complete first season of "The West Wing" on DVD in an early pre Christmas gift exchange last week. It is shaping up to be a very DVD oriented Christmas for me.

Quick update - my crystal ball was spot on. I got the complete Get Smart series and the complete All Creatures Great and Small Series. Wonderful!!

...and a pair of LL Bean "wicked good" mocassins, a bottle of wine, a bottle of port and some of the BEST chocolates in the world (IMHO, of course) - Laura Secord Chocolate Covered Cherries! Yummy!

My mother-in-law is coming over for dinner with us (its OK, I like her!), so more gifts to come, and I will be visiting family up in Ottawa later in the week - more gifts to give and receive!

some wonderful artwork from local NOLA artists

Not a bad day at all; however, the real joy was watching and helping my younger brother open, setup, and begin enjoying his brand new Macbook! It was a real treat to see the rest of my family watch in awe at the ease with which he setup the machine and got himself started having fun. One more joins the revolution!

The only thing I got was the love and warmth of my family, something I've missed in a long time. Best Christmas ever.
Just spent time watching the ENTIRE Planet Earth series (on Blue Ray) throughout the weekend till just now. Well we didn't watch the whole thing. They had it playing non-stop all day, and I just watched it when I had some time.
Amazing show by the way.
