No advertisements and *MUCH* higher quality than commercial channels. The day the license fee is scrapped will be the day I stop watching TV altogether.

Totally agree, they by far have the highest quality TV programming and produce great programs for alot of different audiences and I love there Natural World Programs and also their Comedy style quiz shows.

I can't think of another channel that provides so much quality British Programming. All the Commercial Channels are simply buying up American Programs for just about everything and not investing in British TV which especially in the Sitcom arena use to rule the Waves.
