Weather HD Live + 3.6.0 Not Working

I just updated my Weather HD Live+ to ver. 3.6.0 and it will not open. I keep getting this message: Weather HD Live+ quit unexpectedly with options to Ignore; Report; or Reopen. I don't understand how it quick unexpectedly when it wasn't even open. How can this be fixed? Ver. 3.5.0 worked fine.

Go to their website to see if other have the same issue?

I went to their website and couldn't find any support. I did find an email address and sent them a message. I don't know if I'll get a reply or not. I don't know about reinstalling. I went to the App Store and it said it was already installed. I can't find anywhere how to uninstall. I'm afraid if I install from scratch, I'll be charged. I hope this will be resolved as I miss my weather.

If you bought it through the App Store and is shows as installed, you should not be charged again. Uninstall is easy, go go the Applications folder find it and drag to the trashcan. Done. Then go back to the store and download again and install.

I dragged the Weather HD Live+ icon off the desktop to the Applications folder. It is now in the Applications folder. When I drag it into the trash can from the Applications folder, nothing happens. It stays in the Application folder. Now I can't get rid of it.

Update: I just managed to drag the app to the trash. It is now in the trash. I went on the App store, but it still said I already installed it. Should I empty the trash and then try the App store again again?

Restart see if you can download it now.

I restarted and was able to install it again. The same thing is happening. So I sent it to the Trash again. I now have 3 instances of Weather Live HD+ in my Trash. Would it help to empty my Trash? I am getting very frustrated......

Yes, Definitely.

Then shutdown, reboot and try downloading and installing it again after checking everything is compatible as per specs etc..

I just went to the App Store (AUS) and I cannot find this app. There is Weather Live Free and Weather HD + but not what you describe as Weather HD Live+ ?

I emptied my Trash and tried installing again twice. Again, the same message. I did notice the download mentioned updated for mac OSX Sierra, but it also mentioned that it is compatible with OSX10.9 and later. I have 10.9.5. So what's going on????

In the Mac App Store, go to the page for the App and contact the seller/support page. There is usually a support option on each app page.

I did go the seller's site, Voros Innovation. They do not have any kind of support page. I emailed them and they replied back: "Thank you for your email. We will reply as soon as possible." Who knows when I'll hear back. I just wish they had some sort of support page.

I just looked in the Mac App Store and I still don't see a product canned Weather HD Live +, even under Voros Innovation. They do have something called Weather HD+. Is that it?

I'm sorry. You're right. I don't know where I got the "Live". I think I'm starting to lose it. The product IS Weather HD+. It was upgraded to 3.5.0 on 11/16. I had no problems updateding that version. Then there was another update on 11/24 to 3.6.0 and that's when all my headaches started.

OK, now that we know what the product is it's possible someone has a solution. They don't have a trial version and I don't personally want the product so I can't help except in general sense. Did you do anything else at the same time you updated to 3.6.0? Update anything else, change any configurations, make any system changes?

"Weather HD+: Forecast, Live Wallpaper, Screensaver" v. 3.6.0 seems to be the current version by Voros Innovation the developer.

Also came across "Living Weather HD: Canadian Weather Forecast, live wallpaper, screensaver & desktop clock (free addition" [phew… quite a handle!!!]
v. 3.2.0, $3.99 add-in to remove ads. OS X 10.7.3 or later.

Didn't see much sign of comments of it not working properly, only that it didn't always update the weather and neither did its version auto update to any later version update.

No nothing. The only thing I did was upgrade Weather HD+ to version 3.6.0 from 3.5.0.
