I have noticed many videos on google have the option to download for ipod / psp or google video...
There are many music video's on google...
do you have the right to watch them? or even download them if thats an available option

That has yet to be determined (legally speaking that is). There are several copyright infringement cases which may determine the future of such sites. Check out this link.
