Using external monitor as main display

hi there,
I have a 13" mbp and 20" cinema display, and want to use the cinema display as the main display with my dock in it, and the mbp display secondary off to my right, as of yet i can't find a way to do this, is it possible?

any help is much appreciated!

Go to the display preferences while both displays are connected

click on the arrangement tab and drag the white menu bar on the blue square over to the display you want as the primary

You can also arrange the MPR screen as the secondary monitor to the right or left of the main display as required, by dragging the arrangement.

The MBP will revert to its own screen when disconnected, but remember the set-up when you connect it up to the big screen again
