USB digital TV tuner

what i would really like to do is to plug in a USB TV tuner then to a large antenna, and connect my mac book pro to a 40" TV
i want all of the usefullness of a computer with the OTA broadcasting being piped into the machine that i can resize on the screen and multi-task my butt off.

does anyone have any current experiences?
im on Sierra btw.

Sorry no, but I'm not really understanding exactly what it is you're actually trying to accomplish either.

Maybe you'd like to explain more than just wanting to resize something and multi-task your butt off, whatever that involves.

okay

on the weekends i can hook my MBP up to a 40" tv, i would like a usb tv tuner (and some program) to watch tv (on the tv) from my MBP
i can also have a web browser open and other windows doing other things
like downloading movies to watch later, or videos to watch later (the source is the only difference)

do anyone have any recent experiance with any usb tv tuners?
