Hi, I'm new to the forum, so I hope this isn't an old question. I searched for a related topic, but nothing was returned. Anyway, my question is: Is there a way to see the recent activity of a USB port? I'm worried a someone may have gotten something of my Mac via the USB port and I would like to see if anything was downloaded/saved while I was away.

Console Log. You'll find Console in either Applications or Utilities. Click the Logs symbol and search through what appears there. Not sure about USB activity, but if it's available, it'll be there somewhere. The other factor is how long ago you think the USB activity took place.

It appears USB activity is not available. However, you might be able to find out what the system was doing at that time:

Navigate to = /var/log/

You'll see log folders and log files for just about everything. Sorting thru them may yield results. The console log as mentioned is included in the system log.

Regards.
