Yes. That's what the nomenclature listing "USB 3 Bus" means.

While different colors delineate different types of USB port in the Windows world, Macs don't come with differently colored ports to tell you what type of USB port it is.

According to MacTracker your 2018 MBA has two USB 3.1 gen 2/Thunderbolt 3 ports:

USB: Thunderbolt ports support USB 3.1 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gbps)
Thunderbolt: 2 - Thunderbolt 3 (up to 40 Gbps)

Here is a photo of those ports:

Note that your ports are SIMULTANEOUSLY USB-C ports, USB 3.1 gen 2 ports, and Thunderbolt 3 ports. Or, in other words, the hardware in USB-C, and that hardware can handle both the USB 3.1 gen 2 and the Thunderbolt 3 protocols. (I know that this is very confusing.)

So, to answer your original question, NO, you do not have USB 3.0 ports, and the cable that Neil gave us a photo of should NOT fit the ports of your MBA. You actually have newer and faster ports.

Not if you actually have a 2018 MBA. What you are describing sounds more like a 2017 MBA.
