So, I've often been told it's impossible to upgrade a Mac, especially an iMac... but when I bought my iMac a year and a half ago, the Apple shop screwed me over, won't go into detail, and gave me a free 256mb RAM upgrade. They did it while I ate Subway in the store next door. So obviously, you can. Or at least they can.
So what would someone do if they wanted to upgrade their RAM? Would they have to take it to the shop and have them do it, or would they be able to buy the RAM and do it themselves?
