I have a small usb which I upload movies to and insert into my tv to watch. I deleted movies and wanted to add more. used disk utility to erase using xfat format. I have done this in past and all went well.it was rejected with a red exclamation mark and ejected drive. so I did a first aid and that went well...green checkmarkre did the process and chose apfs and same result same rejection and eject of drive. how can I make this work again??now cannot even get this drive recognized to do anything. keeps getting ejected. guess ill have to scrap it...and give drive away...that is if anyone else can use it! but now concerned as I obviously so not understand the formatting of drives using Mojave!!!</blockquote>
