Upgrade firmware on a jailbroken itouch. couple questions?

i have a itouch with firmware 2.2.1 jailbroken.
If i upgrade to firmware 3.3.1 will i be able to still use all my jailbroken apps?

also how can i backup my apps and put them back on itouch with 3.3.1 firmware?

will the 2.2.1 firmware apps work with 3.3.1 firmware?

can you jailbreak 3.3.1 firmware?
