Yes. That's the way things work now. IIRC though going to the relevant option underneath the Apple menu bypasses needing to navigate to that area. It opens the relevant area for you.

Nah, more of a read and learn, Patrick:

Actually, I found an incredible amount of helpful stuff just by typing in a word or short phrase into the question area of System Settings as well as Spotlight, and of course the old standby Google searching but that has led to a lot of misinformation. Evelyn several applications, help webpages I have visited of all kinds of erroneous statements and phrases about things that don't exist in their software which leads to having to write them an email or something.

A lot of sloppy stuff out there. 😉

Just in case anyone else finds it helpful and didn't know about the future, left-clicking the System Settings icon in the Dock opens the System Settings window the same way as clicking on System Settings under the Apple menu, but right-clicking on the System Settings icon in the Dock opens up a pop up a list view which I find a lot quicker to access the various settings.
