It seems when I am typing in Microsoft Word, or Pages, there is a little bit of lag when I am typing fast. Has anyone else expirienced this? Is there a fix?

fixes - More Ram 1 gig you dont have lag.
preferences typing repeat rate. what you might think is lag is when you say hold down the delete key is due to system preference settings.

if that doesnt fix it sometimes the active spell checker lags MS word it did that on my pc.

Yea, I've noticed the same thing while playing around with the PowerBooks at CompUSA...I thought it was a RAM problem, but I guess it's just the active spell checker...Hmm...

I haven't noticed any lag on my 17" Powerbook. But, there are some big differences between mine and yours (ie. 1.67Ghz processor, vid card, I have 1GB ram, etc.) I did notice that Word is a ram hungry beast when I looked at it in the activity monitor.
