Aloha from Hawaii
I just bought a Novatel Merlin XU870 ExpressCard to use in my MacBook Pro. I'm trying to use my iPhone SIM card in it to connect to the AT&T data network. I have tried all the combinations of APN, username and password that I can find on the Internet, to no avail.
For example:
APN: ISP.CINGULAR
Account name: [email protected]
Password: CINGULAR1
The best results I get are:
Fri Oct 3 18:33:17 2008 : Initializing phone: ATE0V1&F&D2&C1&C2S0=0
Fri Oct 3 18:33:17 2008 : Initializing PDP context: AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","isp.cingular"
Fri Oct 3 18:33:17 2008 : Initializing with secondary command: AT$NWPDN=0
Fri Oct 3 18:33:17 2008 : Dialing: ATD*99***1#
Fri Oct 3 18:33:17 2008 : Waiting for connection
Fri Oct 3 18:33:17 2008 : Connection established
Fri Oct 3 18:33:20 2008 : Serial connection established.
Fri Oct 3 18:33:20 2008 : Using interface ppp0
Fri Oct 3 18:33:20 2008 : Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/cu.wwan
Fri Oct 3 18:33:21 2008 : CHAP authentication succeeded
Fri Oct 3 18:33:51 2008 : IPCP: timeout sending Config-Requests
Fri Oct 3 18:33:51 2008 : IPV6CP: timeout sending Config-Requests
Fri Oct 3 18:33:57 2008 : Connection terminated.
Fri Oct 3 18:34:07 2008 : Serial link disconnected.
Anyone know how to get this working right?
