Background
I have a project requiring me to develop for/on OSX and I am in need of a G4 or G5 box.
I had originally intended to develop the app in Windows in RealBasic and test it on my trusty
12" Powerbook G4 but the customer has added requirements that make it unreasonable to do so.
Now I have a contract but no $$$ to purchase another box to complete it.

What I have to offer

  • Intel P4 1.8 GHz Processor
  • 256 MB of RAM
  • 40 to 60 GB of Hard Disk Storage (2 or 3 x 20 GB 7200 RPM Hard Disks depending if you want the Zip drive)
  • GeForce2 MX Video (4x AGP, 64MB RAM)
  • CDRW Drive
  • Internal Zip Drive (if you opt for 2 x 20 GB Hard Drive configuration)
  • 3.5" Floppy Drive
  • Speakers w/Subwoffer
  • Keyboard and Mouse
  • 15" Mitsubishi Diamondscan 15VX Monitor or better (depending on your trade)
  • Currently has Windows 2000 SP4 and Office 2000 SP1 installed but previously ran Mandrake Linux
  • Mid Tower case with front USB access
  • Includes system restore CDs
What I Need
  • Desktop G4 or G5
  • One or more processors 800MHz or better
  • AGP Graphics
  • 40GB or Better IDE Hard Drive
  • Internal CD, DVD or CDRW Drive
  • Installed or Integrated FireWire
  • Installed or Integrated Ethernet
  • OSX installed (OS9 not required)
  • Keyboard, Mouse and Monitor of some sort
  • No eMacs
