I have a Macbook Air M1 and the 3 finger left and right is not working, I have checked in preferences that the box is ticked but still won't work. It was working last week, I have tried to reboot but still not working. Has anyone experienced the same?

MBP 16" 2023 (M3 Pro), iPhone 15 Pro, plus ATVs, AWatch, MacMinis (multiple)
Do you have multiple desktops enabled? Do a four finger swipe up on the trackpad, the screen should shrink and the top bar will display the desktops the side swipe will go to. If there is only one, side swipe doesn't work because there isn't anything to swipe into.
