I'm running OSX 10.6.2 on a Macbook pro, and for the past few months I have not been able to open a torrent.

I have downloaded osx torrents from countless sites, and attempted opened them in transmission, azereus, and tomato torrent, and also limewire and it never works, it doesn't even start loading or anything.

is there something I am doing wrong??

Well, just what are you doing? No detail, no help. (Maybe in this case; detail, no help. Depends.)

Oooh ooh ooh. I know! The thing you're doing wrong is torrenting Mac OS X instead of buying it!

If you're not and you have something legitimate that you're sucking down, have you ever just tried plain old BitTorrent?

yeah, i mean i'd rather buy stuff to begin with, its so much easier that way, personally i'd rather spend $300 on a program, with the disc and serial and all that than download 500 torrents of it just because they never work. i'd still like to know how to do it, I have tried osx torrents, but im more curious than anything else, because the programs that are supposed to open them just dont.

are there any other laws you would like to break that you need help with?
really strange you just want to know how if your not going to use it.
plus i believe i have seen numerous post that snow leopard can be purchased for way way less than 300 dollars.
