I have a MacBookPro 15inch, 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Mac OS X version 10.5.7. I also have a 500GB Timecapsule. After initially setting up the Timecapsule it worked as desired to do regular backups of my MBP. It also functioned very well as my wireless modem. A couple of months ago I noticed whenever my MBP was on the icon for the TimeCapsule backups would always show it was performing a backup but it was not. The last indicated backup was two months previous to the discovery of the problem. My TimeCapsule, if not turned off, continuously stays in the "preparing to backup" status - even for 24 hours or more but never does another backup. What should I do? Any ideas?
Unfortunately I have very low/poor technology skills. Thx!
