Maybe a simple question - maybe not.
I moved to China about 2 months ago. Before I left the states I bought myself a shiny new Time Capsule. I just got it hooked up and operating about a week ago and I noticed that I now have a California based IP Address! How is this possible? I do alot of vpn stuff and have a client I use regularly that tunnels me to the DFW area - but no vpn stuff in california.
Can anyone offer any suggestions as to why I have a california IP when I am in China? - Is this normal for all Time Capsules?
BTW - Prior to my time capsule hook up - I was running airport extreme (here in China) and when I was not on a vpn I had a Beijing IP Address.
