Your Mac's Specs
White Macbook c2d 2.16ghz 1gig ram 120 gig hdd
Hi everyone, this is my first time here and i will be pulling the trigger very soon for a new macbook and it will also be my first time using the mac os.

My question is ,What will be the difference between the two os's and will leopard be worth waiting for? And will a new user such as myself really be missing much by purchasing now?

two months ago i purchased a hp pavillion core 2 duo 2 gig ram note book with windows vista premium(Its going back to costco!) and have not noticed anything better than my windows xp desktop.

Since i have never been a expert with windows i am hoping to be better with a mac as long as i can forget my bad pc habits. :blind:

You can see the currently known new features of Leopard here. Also, many additional new features have been rumored.

Again, you should base your decision on whether any of those new features are absolutely indispensable for you, which is imprbable, as well as your need for a new computer in the first place.

You can always purchase Leopard later on, though we should see it's release no later than WWDC 2007, which begins June 11th.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm trying to hold off on buying my MacBook so I can get Leopard.
