Does it mean you die if they don't equal?

Usually of a quick heart attack!! Plus the Skipper winds up in a lot of (hot) water. :dive: (this is the first really practical use of this I have found!)

(from my days in submarines)

"The number of surfaces must equal the number of dives or it doesn't count"

It makes a lot of sense in a short sentence, though. Imagine the complications? I don't do well in confined places.

Understandable - a lot feel that way. It never bothered me though.

I would love to learn scuba diving, but just the thought of it takes my breath away. When I wear a mask, I just swim near the surface. I could see the bottom if I am in shallow waters. It could be the sharks that I fear... But, I know how much I am missing (from the documentaries).

If you mug me I won't run, I won't run to get my gun. I won't run to get my gun 'cause if I do then you'll have won.

There's the quote in my sig, which is one of my personal favorites.
And there is also
"The world's weakest overcomes the world's hardest. Nothing under Heaven is softer or more yielding than water; but when it attacks things hard and resistant, there is nothing superior to it" ~ Lao Tzu
Another from Lao Tzu
"He who wishes to be above the people, must speak as though he were beneath them. He who wises to lead them, must put himself behind them..."

mac57: are you a civil engineer? the reason i ask this is because i am currently going to school for architectural engineering and when i get out i think i would most likely be interested in civil and of structural engineering. i was just wondering how you liked the field if you are in it and if it is really as interesting and fun as i find it to be now
