No, nothing as common as that. I think it's an MG by the badge work under the bonnet?

Oh, but I did MacB and so far Lando has done quite well at Silverstone today.

My twisted sence of humour comes from 14 tears working for Her Magisty in the Royal Air Force as an aircraft electrical/instrument fitter. 5 on the most beautiful aircraft ever designed, the VC10

By the way, you do know that MG stands for Morris Garages?.

And it was a known fact that the MG cars were built in the MG factory at Abingdon on Thames by Water Sprites. And BMWs were built at the "Bayerische Motoren Werke" which is the full name of BMW, which translates to "Bavarian Motor Works" in English.

I was always proud of the fact that my 1960 MGA 1600 was always able to beat out most BMWs when they raced in the same class (conference racing), but I was not the driver at the time.

A great car it was, and fun to drive. Sorry to get off topic... 😉

Not really off topic Patrick, just a bit of the person behind the 'Mug'.

I had a chance to swop my TC for an MGA Twink, twin cam, at one stage in Singapore,. But the windscreen was VERY scratched and surface damaged and I couldn't find another to replace it! I was also offered a Lotus 11 as well, but the Boss puther foot down on that one!
