Thank you regarding Paddington! <understatement>He's a bit hyper</understatement>, sometimes acting as a guinea pig, sometimes as an armadillo. He jumps.
I think eric's probably right regarding Twinky. She's a pretty kitty, and cats and guinea pigs *can* co-exist, but it might take a little training. It reminds me of what I tell my daughter at the table: "Don't play with your food, unless it's alive and you're about to kill it." ^_^
