I actually did have a cat that large.
Here is a link to a pic of him sitting next to one of my 'normal sized' cats. You can see the major difference in the two... and this isn't 'shopped at all.

One of mine is getting pretty big but it's due to someone else (probably some well meaning neighbour) feeding him. Found him sat on the fence with cream dripping from his chin once. He's in good condition and looks really well so I don't know why they feel the need to feed him up.
Any suggestions on what to do? His flab covers his feet when he sits up straight!!!
