Totally agree with the above comments. I have a documentary with Louis Theroux interviewing this family on my Sky+, not sure I still want to watch it now.

I'm not surprised have you seen what they do to people. In the UK alone 106,000 Die from Smoking and it reduces your life expectancy by 8-12 Years.

I'm glad to see he's on my side.

Yea I just saw the video, it goes to show a failing by the Police and the Mental Health Authorities to take his case seriously and the concerns raised by the individuals.

I hope they can focus on this rather than beefing up security in Schools/Universities as I think that has more of a negative effect on society.

They showed alot of the photo's in victims in the papers, and I'm not sure why but you don't expect them to be well normal students, sounds weird doesn't it :bomb:

Exactly right...well said.

I just wonder if it wern't for all the news coverage these things get if they would, not stop happening cause that would be too much too ask for, but be much less common.

With all the media attention surrounding the material he mailed to NBC, this psycho is getting exactly what he wanted. I wish they wouldn't have released it. We should be hearing more about the victims, not the person that murdered them.

I agree totally with MadDoG and Cherokee... WAY too much media coverage for the killer! It shows other unstable types they could have this 'payoff' after they're dead.

Exactly what happened with the Columbine incident. Now every deranged teenager knows exactly how to become famous far beyond 15 minutes.

Although with Columbine, the authorities still have not released the video those two monsters made... Even with requests from the families asking for their release.

Couldn't agree more, Cherokee!

The mere fact that he even made the video is evidence that the media's sensationalizing of these events, giving the shooters something akin to celebrity status, is part of what drives them to commit such horrors.

An update regarding Virginia Tech: Classes resumed today. The university is gracefully allowing any student that wishes to drop any/all classes without a penalty so that they may go home.
