Sync Mail.App with Iphone

I have several email addresses, imap, pop & gmail. I wanted all my email in one place, so I recently started using the OSX Mail.app. It works ok I guess, but when I read, delete, archive, or perform any other action on my desktop, it doesn't reflect on my phone, and vice versa. How do I fix this?

POP is machine specific so any change you make on one doesn't get reflected elsewhere. IMAP, on the other hand, should be uniform across devices. Which accounts aren't working as expected? If the only ones are POP based, consider switching to IMAP.

Also consider using iCloud to sync your accounts across devices if you can't switch entirely to IMAP.
