sync Iphone to entourage

Hi all,
I have sadly wiped out (don't ask) all my calendar and contact details from Entourage. However I still have them on my Iphone. I want to export them from the iphone back into the Now empty Entourage system. However from the info I can find on the web what seems to be the case is that if I sync my Iphoe to the Mac the Iphone will copy my empty calendar and contacts which would be a disaster. Some sitesssay that I can set things up to get my Iphone to 'send' the info into Entourage but they are scarily ambiguous in their instructions. I need to get this right if it's possible. Any (clear) ideas?

You might consider syncing to iCal and Address Book and then in Entourage you can tell it to sync with those 2 items. After the sync, disable in iTunes again and any changes to Entourage will end up in iCal and Address Book. Kind of like a local back-up.

Pay close attention to the iTunes settings so that it doesn't wipe the iPhone entries.
