swupd folder

Hi

i dont know if ive posted this in the right place, i was clearing my startup drive on my mac os x server and i came along a folder called "swupd", within it there is a folder called "html" and it was 22gb- does anyone know what this folder is for? and can i delete/backup it up?

any information would be useful.

Check your Server Admin Software Update settings to be sure you have the Purge unused/legacy software update packages "automagically" box checked. If you don't check it and it should begin to remove the unnecessary updates for you. I had the same issue today but my swupd was 50GB, had 2 years of updates stored, checked that box in minutes I had 30GB back.
