switching ms word program from 2010 MBP to 2012 MBA?

Hi,
I had bought a microsoft word program on my 2010 mbp a few years ago for school. i no longer use it but my little bro needs it for school and he has a 2012 macbook air, is there anyway i can transfer it to his computer? or is the license only good for mine?

i would give him my computer, but the macbook pro is too heavy for him and i am afraid he may drop it.

You can install the Office program (Word) on his computer as long as you have the product ID code and can activate it. You will be required to remove it from your computer.
