I think I may have used the drive to burn 5 - 10 disks in the time I've had the computer - maybe 2 yrs.  I had this issue once before and was able to retrieve the disk - don't remember how.  Now when I startup I can hear the disk spin, but there is no evidence that a drive even exists on this machine.</p></blockquote><p></p>
